The room was named in honor of this brave 20 year-old woman who lost her life during the three-day battle of Gettysburg. The room also comes with a private bath/shower. If you or your family would like, I am sure Corporal Jack Skelly (1863) would love to share the romantic true story of his star-crossed lover, Jenny Wade in the warmth of the Lincoln Library. Maybe Jenny Wade would make an appearance and tell her own story to you and your family on the side porch, flower garden or by the fishpond.
