Jenny Wade Mini-Chautauqua Series, 2007 Programs
The 2007 “Spend an evening with…” mini-Chautauqua series programs sponsored by the Jenny Wade B&B of Ashland, Ohio.
All programs to be performed at the Ashland Arts Center at 209 Center Street at 7:00PM the second Tuesday of every Month.

Spend an evening with General George Washington (Kenneth Hammontree of Ashland, Ohio) and learn how Washington’s small army survived the cold winter at Valley Forge. (Time Frame the winter of 1777) |
| February 13, 2007 |
Spend an evening with David Crockett (Col. Larry Brenneman of Mansfield, Ohio) and listen to his wonderful story telling and what really happened at the Alamo. (Time frame 1830’s) |
| March 13, 2007 |
Spend an evening with Meriwether Lewis Kenneth Hammontree of Ashland, Ohio) and listen to his stories of the greatest expedition in history of the Corps of Discovery. (Time frame 1803-1805) |
| April 10, 2007 |
Spend an evening with Corrie Ten Boom (Rachel Ball of Mansfield, Ohio) and listen to her story of the “Hiding Place” in helping the Jews to safety during WWII and the Nazi rule over Europe. (Time Frame 1940) |
| May 8, 2007 |
Spend an evening with General George Patton (Kenneth Hammontree) and the Third Army as they move across Northern France into Germany during the Battle of the Bulge in the winter of 1944. |

Spend an evening with General Dwight David Eisenhower (Kenneth Hammontree) and absorb his thoughts and emotions on the Battle of the Bulge and the push into Germany. (Time Frame 1944) |
| July 10, 2007 |
Spend an evening with Rev. David Zeisberger (Kenneth Hammontree of Ashland, Ohio) and listen to his stories of his work with the Delaware Indians in the Ohio wilderness in the 1780’s. |

Spend an evening with Martha Washington (Rachel Ball of Mansfield, Ohio) of Mount Vernon and listen to her stories about being the wife of the Father of our Country and the Mistress of Mount Vernon |

Spend an evening with Emily Dickinson (Debra Conner) and be transported back to the mid-1800s where Dickinson discusses her poetry, family, friends, religion and of course her need to withdraw from society. (Time Frame 1830-1886) |
| November 13, 2007 |
Spend an evening with Mozart (Kenneth Hammontree of Ashland, Ohio) and listen to his stories about what is was like growing up a podgy in the 1770’s |
| December 11, 2007 |
Spend an evening with Mr. and Mrs. Claus (Father Christmas) and learn about the origins of Christmas and what the true meaning of Christmas is all about. |
